I did not do this, however the most lucrative erewards survey I've done: last week I was invited to participate in a father-son survey. Take a short 5 minute video and both father and son complete 8 short questions after and I receive $75 in erewards currency and my dad receives a $75 prepaid visa!!! (Which I get to keep)

Sounds like some innovative offers lately! Yesterday I was offered $25 gc to physically go to an Ulta cosmetics store, look at two cosmetics brands' displays and report back via survey. I had to email a photo I took while there in order to get the survey.

I easily completed the process (spending too much money on makeup along the way) and qualified or the $25 in the mail. I'm assuming it will be a visa/Amex/mc gc.

Question e-Rewards Devaluation

As late as last April, the best redemption on e-Rewards was 100 points for 7K Hilton Honors points. Now, and without any warning, this award was devalued to 125 e-rewards points for 7K HH points.

Is there any better redemption on e-Rewards?

I was really looking forward to bump my HH balance to over 150K points

I'm close to $100 for 7k HHonors. Oh well.

I like 4,000 Priority Club points for $100, mainly because of the huge availability of Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express properties throughout the world. I find availability (and free breakfasts) to be more important that luxury.

OMG, I'm at $95.65 and was just about to cash in for HHonors for about the 4th time.

So now 4500 points for $75 is actually a better deal than 7000 points for $125.

There are plenty of as-good or better redemptions.

2000 Rapid Rewards points have a fixed value of just under $34.

Most other airlines will give you 2000 miles which, conservatively, would be valued at $30. Easily much more.

If you want to go through all the hoops, 3000 Iberia Avios would easily be worth $60 toward short haul US trips.

I believe they are doing a roll out of changing the benefit level batch by batch probably depends on anniversary date of the account.

When in Sept my husband's account was still seeing the 7K for $100 offer but since his last redemption was mid July, he could not redeem again until after Mid Oct. Well, we were on a long trip to Europe and 2 cruises since end of Sept till beginning of Nov. When I checked in Nov, his redemption option has changed to the current level.

So if you want HHonor points, redeem as quickly as you can for eventually your account will see the devaluation too.

Have you tried IB to BA transfer?

I am wondering the route - redeem Iberia then transfer Iberia to BA. The only obstacle is, it cannot be done with household account at BA. So one must dismantle the household account first before trying this mechanism.

Hasn't been worth it to me yet but it's on my list to try out someday. I hear you have to have both accounts open 90 days before you can do the transfer.

It can be done via an avios.com account. The physical address in the UK does not to be real. But you have to wait 90 days after opening your IB account.

Also both BA and Iberia accounts should have some activity.

So the route is IB to Avios.com to BA but the BA account can be inside the Household Account? Both IB and Avios accounts would be new since we only have BA accounts.

I understand the rule of 90 days existence before transfer.
