Three interesting things this morning. One - the "Foxmart" pop up I was getting every time I opened E-Rewards (posted above) is gone. Two - when I opened E-Rewards this morning I had a large pop-up saying they needed more info from me because they would need to send me a tax form due to the amount of rewards I received over the year - although it didn't actually ask for any info... And Three - my first survey of the day was listed as a $52 survey for 7 minutes! Those normally last about one question before I get my 25 cents. This time it asked a few questions about two illegal immigrant situations - and awarded me $52! Triple the previous high amount I've ever received!

I got that same survey. Nice.

As to the 1099 reporting - I do not feel comfortable giving them my SSN. I am not sure whether I will continue or not.

"No surveys available"--any idea what's going on?

I'm a long-time e-rewards member, very active, and always receiving new survey offers on a daily basis. About a week ago I finished up all the surveys in my dashboard. From that point forward I've had no more surveys at all in the dashboard, just "No surveys available." I continue to receive emails from them offering surveys, but the links take me to a similar message. This happens on other devices in our house, both computer and mobile, not just my computer, and on at least two different browsers. On my phone, this happens on wi-fi and on 5G.

On my computer, I've done all the routine things they first suggested: popups are allowed, cookies have been cleared, Norton has given me a clean bill of health, etc etc. I can login, I can see my survey history, and I have the correct point balance visible in the account. (Have not yet tried to redeem.) I've written e-rewards, and they confirm that the account is still active and in good standing, so it's not blocked, which was my initial concern. I've written them back with a detailed account of everything that's been happening in the hope that their IT folks can followup.

Interesting that I just realized that the exact same issue is happening with my Hilton Guest Opinion Rewards survey account. Both are run by Research Now, and I'm wondering if they have some unspoken rule about not allowing one person to have an account in each of two different programs. The T&C say nothing about that being prohibited, just that you can only have one account per person in any particular program.

Anyone ever experienced anything like this, and if so, any advice on what might be happening and how to get it resolved?

You might want to try a redemption and see if you get the dreaded "Error" message meaning your account has been suspended. I just checked my account and there are no issues and I also have the Hilton program. I did notice the other day that after months of my wife being kicked off E-Rewards (reason unknown) that she has also not received any surveys from Opinion Place in months - so I'm guessing they are connected - as I'm sure many of the sites are. Hope you are able to get it resolved. E-Rewards doesn't normally screw with me until I have $500 - $600 in the account :-)

Thanks. I'm due for a redemption so I may go ahead and try that over the weekend. However, the fact that they are telling me the account is not locked makes me think that I won't have a redemption problem, just the ongoing survey access problem. The more I think about this, the more I'm leaning towards an issue with having the Hilton account as well as the e-rewards account. But I'm going to wait and see what they have to say in response to my most recent email. I would think that if there is an issue with Hilton and vice versa their IT people would be able to identify that without a lot of digging. If I have to, I can give up Hilton without much concern, but don't want to give up e-rewards.

EDITED TO ADD: I just redeemed for United miles this morning (10.10.21) so I can confirm that everything about the account is working except for not receiving any surveys. Anyone else?

I'm having this very issue. I was still able to access surveys via e-mail and/or website as of Tuesday I think. Now I get the message you've described. I've gone through a "fake" redemption just to the point where I would normally get the error message if my account has been inactivated. I don't get the error message.

BTW, I'm in the US.

Has anyone actually received a 1099 form from them in prior years ... and was the amount what you expected, or more or less?

Yes, I received one last year for the very first time, and I've been on e-rewards for many years. The amount seemed to accurately reflect only my redemptions for rewards that had a specific monetary value, AKA gift cards. Redemptions for airline miles, hotel points, etc did not appear to have been included. Prior to the receipt of the 1099, I was very concerned about how they were going to value miles and points, but that seems to not have been an issue.

Thank you. That is exactly what I wanted to know. That seems very fair to me. I appreciate your post.

Has anyone had issues with e-rewards not getting any surveys but am still able to redeem for rewards? This has been going on now for almost a week and I haven't had any surveys, but am still able to redeem for IHG points and AA miles. I have a long term laundry study with them, they pay me every month for doing my laundry and get rewarded with $56 dollars, but this last week no surveys what so ever.

Please see posts #4521-4524 upthread. You're now the third person, including myself, who has posted about the exact same issue. Strongly recommend that you contact them (as I've already done) and perhaps mention that you've anecdotally heard of several others with the same problem in the past week. The more they know that this is not an isolated incident, the better.

Wondering if you have an account with one of their other survey programs, i.e. Hilton Guest Opinion Rewards, and if so, are you experiencing the same issue there?

As I indicated in a post above I received the first request for 1099 info from E-Rewards a few days ago - hasn't happened in past years. Makes me wonder - can I claim a certain value for my time filling out surveys to offset the value they claim??? :-)

I received a brief reply from customer support confirming that my account was still active/not flagged and that they would be expediting my ticket.

I cancelled my membership to Guest Opinion Rewards when I read about the potential conflict. However, I have never taken any surveys nor accrued any points through this portal.
