All,

I used the T code to reserve a car at John Wayne in Orange County back in August. I have my email confirmation still which shows all the inclusions (fuel, insurance, etc).

I decided to "online check in" which is a button from the email. It leads to a dead page. I clicked the Alamo.com "Online check in" and typed my name and confirmation number. It says "This reservation is not eligible for Online Check-In" so I decided to "view" my confirmation using Alamo.com. I get the reservation but also this message "You cannot modify this reservation online. To modify or cancel, please call (888)826-6893" which I expected based on reading the past couple pages in this thread.

Besides that, 2 things concerned me:
1) There is a window on the side that says "Sorry to see you go. We hope you will visit us again at Alamo.com for your future car rental needs." Did my reservation get cancelled?

2) When I look at the summary (or email it again to myself) I do not see the list of inclusions (especially fuel). Did they modify my reservation?

Anybody have experience with any of this?

For reference, here is what Alamo.com "view reservation" says:

Car Summary Midsize SUV
Ford Escape(or similar)
Power Door Locks

(2) Day Rate ($44.70/day) $89.39

When you say go to Alamo, you mean the Alamo counter or Kiosk, right?

Kiosk... of course...

but regarding what you're experiencing with their website, that is exactly what I had - the part that pissed me off the most was all of a sudden it seemed the CDW/LDW & fuel inclusion had dropped off!

When I used the kiosk, it was all included and displayed on the screen and subsequent rental agreement.

no issues, just enjoy

Hi all thanks for the help. I just used the TIND1 code to rent car to Las Vegas in June.
Had to choose a SUV which was fine for $210.00 for dates 6-2 thru 6-7. When I go in to view/cancel and put in my husband's name and confirmation number it states they cannot recognize the name listed? What is up with that? I used the coupon code AU4234FDA. I printed out the confirmation and fuel option etc was there. Do you think I will have a problem with this? The Reservation lists my husband as the Driver. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks again for all the tips.

does anyone have any id or coupon suggestions for multiple month rentals with alamo in florida?

i tried american express cardholder and visa winter promotions but the base rate actually increases and the rental ends up costing more with these coupon codes applied.. insiders is the only discount that appears beneficial

Used T-Code For Maui

Have a T-code reservation on Maui for end of the month. Reservation still shows price and all benefits, but as everyone else says can't do a online check in. So will try Kiosk upon arrival. Anybody use the T in Hawaii lately?? thanks

(Edit) ended up not using T-code booked a last minute PRICELINE $60. Cheaper but no free fuel but no hassle booking was with Alamo

Europcar France €20 discount

for those renting with Europcar in France till Feb 28 here is 20 euro discount
Comment utiliser votre bon cadeau:

1. Choisissez votre véhicule et réservez-le
2. Dans la réservation, renseignez l'emplacement "code coupon" avec le code:
FRGOODYEAR2013
3. Votre bon cadeau s'applique !

Doesnt look targeted and worked on multi bookings.
enjoy

MCO help

I am planning an 8 day rental in April and would like to use Alamo. I am part of the Insiders club but I am finding no discounts and discovering the rates are extremely high.

I have done a few mock bookings with T code and it is offering me a fullsize SUV for about $390.
Is there another coupon which could accompany the T code to drop the rate?
I cannot tell if the T code includes an additional driver, does it?

I also have been playing with contract code 6677196M with 2 car upgrade
AU4234FDA offering a fullsize for $310.
Again, I cannot tell if add driver is included, or does not ask me either way...

The one thing I am finding is that 8th day is killing me as far as price.

Will Alamo Insiders offer me a better deal closer to April or is this as good as it gets?

Never been to MCO, any tips and advice would be most appreciated.
*** I have done my best to research this thread, appologies if I missed something.
