Qatar have confirmed the presence of a policy whereby if a customer booked a QSuites flight and subsequently gets an aircraft type swap can you request travel on an alternative flight, subject to availability, see post #2709 Previously this included change of routing, now it only includes changing the date on the same routing. QR issued tickets only!
Qatar Airways confirms new business class seat

A video of the new Q Suite can be seen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yhZDsctiZg

Photos of the new Q Suite can be seen here - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/28007634-post109.html

From TGFlyerGirl:
there are some quite complex rules entries around seat selection - but in essence, solo travellers as a guideline won't be assigned QUADS (they are blocked off), and it's generally for 3/4 pax families. Once a QUAD has been broken up (out of necessity - for example with a couple in the E/F seats), then the rest of the quad is unlocked and can be filled with individual travellers.

They've also made 1A/2B last offered to allow airport flexibility to handle last minute requests. The other 18 windows and aisles are free for reservation as per the normal process.

The bassinet position is 11B/J (77W) and 8B/J (A359), reduced mobility seats are 2/4/6/9 B and J.

All A/E/F/K's are backward facing, all B,D,G,J's are forward facing. Total 20 Forward/22 Backward.

Capacity:
77W: J42/Y312
High density 77W: J24/Y388
77L: J42/Y230
35K: J46/Y281
359: J36/Y247

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for regularly maintaining the data in this thread!

I have created an overview article on my own blog with the data provided here: https://travel-dealz.eu/blog/qatar-a...qsuite-routes/

At the same time I went one step further and tapped the API of FlightAware.com to get a probability for QSuites on every single route, based on the flight history. I think this can be interesting for you as well. The data will be automatically updated weekly.

Flew DOH-MLE-DOH. DOH-MLE had a late sub-no q suites. MLE-DOH had Q suites. 350-900 on both flights. They also fly a 320 there. No way I'd want a 320 for 5 hours.

We’ve done enough ‘short’ AA transcons in Domestic F to sympathise. Hawaii (OGG)-LAX-CLT was NOT fun!

I flew DOH-MLE a few weeks ago. It was an older A350, a bit ratty/dirty. Qsuite would have been a lot nicer!

I'll take the A350 over the A320 I have to MLE Friday.

No QSuites on DOH-SIN anymore?

I'm looking at QR 2428 from DOH to SIN on 27th August. Google Flights has it as an A350 but not as a Qsuites flight which is weird as all of my recent SIN flights have been Qsuites and I vaguely recall a QR press release announcing all SIN flights were going to be Qsuites as of earlier this year. Does anyone have any insight into whether this is just GF not recognising the correct equipment? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

Dijonspurs according to qrcargo QR944 and QR942 are A350 (-900) 27 August. Apart from two QR944 flights a week all other flights are A351.

Hi Remdk, thanks so much. If i've understood correctly from the Wiki, only 8 of the 30-odd A350-900s have Qsuites so my luck does indeed appear out on that one. Shame, it's the only product I can sleep in well!

Wasn't aware of that when I booked, however I'd be worried about missing the morning seaplane to our resort.

Took lax-doh 2 weeks ago. The armrest was broken (cannot put it down) and seat adjustment control stopped working 2 hours prior to landing. The flight crew acknowledged it and said it's been issue for a while. Wondering if anyone has experience raising issue like this and possibly get any compensation..
