Qatar have confirmed the presence of a policy whereby if a customer booked a QSuites flight and subsequently gets an aircraft type swap can you request travel on an alternative flight, subject to availability, see post #2709 Previously this included change of routing, now it only includes changing the date on the same routing. QR issued tickets only!

Just got QR'd - QR 818 from DOH-HKG for 3 Jun Switched from Q Suite to old 2-2-2. Very frustrating!

So...…...maybe a stupid question...…..ok probably a stupid question.....but how do you know / aware so quickly if your airplane has been swapped. For example above avm2806 knew the plane was swapped.

I'm booked to travel from MUC - DOH (QR 58 - Jun 7, 28) and DOH-CPH (QR 161 - Jun 18, Jul 3) a few times in June . Looks like DOH-CPH has 100% Qsuites for this route which is great, but worried about MUC-DOH. Qsuites on QR58 is very inconsistent. Seems like every other flight (give or take) is Qsuite and the others are classic 2-2-2. How frequent are there equipment swaps on QR? Specifically booked these routes because of Qsuites..
