Wierd.

AFAIK, all economy seats on the QF A388's are of the same basic "width", although those with adjacent in armrest stowed tray tables can be somewhat more restrictive.

It gets more weird with SeatGuru's info:
Seat 70E has slightly reduced seat width
Go figure

Indeed... if you look very closely at the QF supplied seat map - the triple seat unit containing 70E does appear slightly narrower. (Could be an optical illusion... but it does look a fraction thinner than the 3 seats in front or behind.)

You're correct !
I should not consult SeatExpert any longer
However, I'm curious as to why there's no seat 70D ?

crew escape hatch... it opens from below into the cabin at the space that would have been occupied by 70D.

Flight QF122 :: ZQN-SYD

I'll be on QF122 from Queenstown to Sydney.
Can anyone advise on what side of the aircraft I should be to enjoy the best views ?
TIA !

G'Day folks,

Booked on a B738 for PER-ADL this Friday.

When do rows 4-10 typically become available for seat selection? Only down the back appears to be available at the moment.

I am QF Gold.

Cheers,

747 still have angled lie flat?

Booked on QF 21 to NRT in November. Seat map shows row 23 directly behind zone A, seeing some info that these planes still have angled seats, is this true? Can't find uptodate info on this.

Thanks!

I'm in the upper deck on QF 11/12 in business class. Currently I'm in an aisle seat (in the front 3 rows) of the window pair. Would it be better to have an aisle seat of the center pair so that I don't have my neighboring passenger bothering me to get out of the seat? Will the window passenger need to have me get up to leave his/her seat? Thanks!

The QF A380 is the only 2x2x2 seat configuration where I would take an A/K seat over a center pair E/F.

This is due to the side storage and that I can reasonably easily climb over a recumbent 'seat mate'.

I'm an aisle guy so is there any difference between a center aisle versus a side aisle? Should I try for a window seat?

If you are an aisle guy, take the center aisle.

As for pics and why I like the window, see these threads from Australian Frequent Flyer:
