I looked at AUH-CGK-AUH, out end November and return late March; the fare was AED 3219.
This doesn't seem particularly wonderful (it's higher than any of the 3 tix I bought earlier this year), so I won't be bothering.

That's in the blackout zones so not surprising. Non blackout is 2469 as stated above.

I have just booked out and back late November for AED2469. Out early and back mid December is still AED3219.
Edit: If I return to AUH by 4/12 the price drops back. So the blackout out dates seem to be for completed travel, not just start date.

Well, as mentioned above, I didn't book this. as I thought it was too expensive for my dates.
However, when playing with Google Flights looking for alternatives around my preferred dates (end Nov - late March), I found and booked a fare that I thought was a better fit for me.
Perhaps off-topic, but it's an Oman Air business class fare CAI-BKK-CAI (Fare Basis RBBL6EG ) for EGP 13,522 (approx GBP 672). Three of my four flights are showing as widebodies (787/330) and one as a 737. Seems to be widely available through to the end of March at least.
It suits me, as I was going to be in Cairo anyway, and I'm a Sindbad Gold member, but I realise that it's not much use if you're chasing TP's/Avios (I've already re-qualified for BAEC Gold).

Just booked DXB-CGK 2x for March 2020. March 13-15/16-18. Not risking any back-to-backs. Not a ridiculously low price but for a shade above £590 per set of flights, not extortionate. Definitely no sign of anything in the £400s as we had expected at all. Doing AUH-CGK x2 November 2019 as well.
