UL website which indicates clearly that this fare is not accruing FlySmiles points, we shall not expect UL to credit them.
I can already foresee the exchanges with BAEC to obtain the TP & Avios.
We may after a lenghty fight get them, but is the GBP 73 saving really worse the risk/trouble, in particular if you do several b2b's?

I think I'm right in saying that all BA do when checking with a partner airine is to confirm:
(1) that you actually flew that sector on the date shown
(2) that you were ticketed in fare bucket 'X'
(3) that you had attached your BAEC number to the PNR
So their system would probably be blind to the fact that UL was denying miles to their own members, and any manual intervention would most likely follow the steps above.
I assume one would therefore have a reasonably defensible position, as I-class UL fares are shown in the BA calculator as earning 140TPs per sector on those routes.,. but I agree that it would rather gutwrenching to have 560, 1120 or even 1680 TPs relying on that assumption, especially if BA started to play silly burgers !

Although the fare doesn't allow stopovers, I was able to price up DXB-CGK return with a stopover in CMB on the outbound for £599. The same itinerary, but returning to AUH, was £15 cheaper.

Did you actually book? I mean, did you manage to get that ticketed or just priced up?

I'm ready to book this , but concerned re the BA TP and avios not being awarded. Did FT'ers booked and travelled prior to this weeks sale remember if the no miles awarded to sri lankan FF members rule exist when they booked?

Just bought the fare for my holiday in January (4 days on Java and 6 days in Sri Lanka). I am not afraid for not being credited the BA Avios. It is still an "I" fare and standard BA Executive club conditions should apply.
