wow, removed miles?
Had you suddenly booked a ticket and then used the miles, what would they have done? AND if you had a res planned with your family and it hinged on these miles in your booked award, what then?

Although they say that additional merchants may be added, giftcertificates.com doesn't appear on the website's original merchant listing:
WorldPerks Mall Retailers
Additional WorldPerks merchants may be added during the promotional period.
(Purchases from Netflix, Gamefly, and Guthy-Renker do not qualify)

I have couple of hotel stays & NWA mall purchases that won't get posted until next month (June), does anyone know if they would still qualify for the perkology bonus miles? Thanks.

I JUST got the new sig card I ordered last week (finally, something comes faster in life than the std. 7-10 biz days) and now I can use it to get another perkology bonus. I could read and find it, but anyone know off hand what the bonus and requirement is to spend? This card has no ann fee for a year but the promo said something about if you spend $ by may 31, you get I think another 5k miles. Hey, maybe I should spend $5,000 and get ANOTHER 5k miles! I DO have 2 days, after all, right?
But seriously, what is the min you must spend to get something?
thanks!

Historically, NWA has given people retro credit for these. Not sure if it will continue... They did for MileSafari and EM. As long as the activity occurred during the promo period, they gave credit.

I just settled for the 40k miles. Spending 5 k$ proved to be too tough in 14 days.

Thank goodness perkology is about to end...
Weakest promo for me in 16 months. I never choose partner miles for hotel / car rental because in my opinion they are severely undervalued. I for one am very much hoping for a flight based promo after tomorrow.
What irks me the most is I had 90k EQM for 06 spread across 12 months and this year I have close to 80k EQM and it's not even the end of the 2nd quarter. I would have been swimming in miles on a miles safari type promo.

Yes, thank goodness that it's going to go from "weakest promo" to "no promo at all". I think we're all thankful for that because, really, if we can't have our cake and eat it too, then why have anything at all?

Well, I think Worldperkers are pretty spoiled in terms of mileage bonus opportunities.
United has had some great Fly 3 get 1 free type promos but it's not that consistent. Other than that, I can't think of any other airline that has been so generous. People just sort of come to expect it.
I still think all those bonus miles make you happier even though award availability is below average (for U.S. carriers). Thats how they make their miles back.

Re: OP. Yeah, Perkology was a stinker, but then even the best ones today pale against things like the circa-2000 CO mileage bonanza.

Perkology was completely useless for me and did not modify my behavior in any way. Thus, I am thankful for its ending if only in the hope that something (ideally flight based) takes its place.
