Perkology: good stuff
I've been reviewing the Terms & Conditions for Perkology, and it looks like a great program. Some things that are not that obvious:
So, why not register? I'm surprised more people haven't posted about this.
- Anyone (with a WP Visa or not) can earn the awards
- Anyone can earn 1000 bonus miles per hotel stay
- Anyone can earn 500 bonus miles per car rental
- Anyone can earn 500 bonus miles if you spend at least $50 in meals with the RNDM program
So, why not register? I'm surprised more people haven't posted about this.

My 5,000 miles was removed today as well. I E-mailed them and was told:
"In error, we made a programming error and the 5000 miles for the
qualifying purchases will be credited after the offer has ended.
We value the patronage of our frequent flyers and sincerely want to
provide them with the finest travel incentive program in the airline
industry. As with any bonus program certain restrictions must apply."

My experience went in stages... 10,000 miles posted for no apparent reason in early March... after a couple of days, that was reduced to 5,000 miles... after a couple more days it vanished completely.

Perkology Promo - Dumb Name, Nice Miles
NW is running a promo called Perkology. Looks like their usual MileZilla or whatever.
I'm not flying these days, but I'm still staying in hotels. An interesting twist (for me) to this promo is 1000 miles/hotel stay, no maximum except the overall 50,000 mile max.
Since Choice Hotels is my current bread and butter hotel, and they're currently running a triple points/triple miles promo, this can work out very nicely. Let's see .... 750 miles/stay + 1000 miles X 4 stays/week = 7000 miles/week. Not bad!
Registration required.
Enjoy.
Ooops. Looks like it's aalready been posted, but I coudn't find it. Oh well, mods can merge threads at their leisure.

Perkology - new promo (kind of)
I received a 10,000 mile Visa sign up bonus when I signe dup and got the Visa card back in 2005 and cancelled since then. I just signed up for a new Visa card and received it in the mail- is it possible to get the 25,000 bonus miles, or do they look back at past card history to see that an enrollment bonus was already received? Can you get both 20,000 Visa Platinum bonus and 25,000 Visa Signature bonus if you sign up and pay annual fee for both cards? Anyone have any first hand experience?
