Maybe a dumb question...
My wife got a letter with a brand new Aeroplan card and account yesterday. We only use my account so I have zero use for this account.
Am I right in assuming one of the credit cards she has yet to use is linked to this new account? There is an Aeroplan Plus card and a CIBC biz card.
What I'm getting at is that Aeroplan doesn't randomly open and send out new account cards? She did have an issue with a flight back in July, booked on my ap account but she was traveling on an AC33 flight that had IRROPS.

The only time we've unexpectedly gotten an Aeroplan card in the mail was back when TD was messing up their card apps and giving people new numbers instead of using the number supplied during the app.

One quick call though and it was sorted out.

Oddly it was Amex. Love their secure email service. While my wife likes the points I do drive her nuts with all this churning business, so the less phone calls the better. She pretended to have laryngitis the other day as I had to move credit, cancel a card and figure out where a new card is. I know what I`m doing but I simply suck at explaining it to anyone.

New offer for TD Inf First Class visa: 50k and 50% af rebate. Not a crazy deal. GCR has 50% rebate.
http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/product...ate-custom.jsp
Based on the URL it seems that this offer is for TD's affiliate sites (GCR, etc.) so doubtful that product switch would qualify since the offer is not listed on TD's main page. You can always compare TD's main offer to affiliate by taking a regular link i.e.:
tdcanadatrust.com/products-services/banking/credit-cards/view-all-cards/td-first-class-visa-infinite-card.jsp
Replace "card" with "affiliate-custom"
tdcanadatrust.com/products-services/banking/credit-cards/view-all-cards/td-first-class-visa-infinite-affiliate-custom.jsp
Although at times they can have multiple affiliate offers out there

This is probably not the best spot for this question, but I figured the response time would be fastest. What's your experience been with time to convert RBC Avion to AA points? I just did a transfer and it said up to 4 weeks. Hope that's not the case.
