Are those who are still able to search and book just resubmitting your search until you get past the Forbidden page? Or are you not getting the Forbidden page at all?

It is hit and miss for me. Sometimes I get the forbidden error other times I get pricing.

Was getting forbidden errors for about 20 minutes before I was able to book.

I'm getting through to the search screen now, but prices are ~$2400 vs ~$1200 earlier.

Yes -- and it's a bit of a gamble. But I figure for this price, it gives me a handful of things to review for the blog, beyond just being a super cheap trip to Rome.

Here's the work around I found. Search XXX-FCO, then modify search after it returns results to CDG.

Is this getting around the "forbidden" error or getting the ~$1200 pricing? I can search, but the prices are about double.

Yes on both. Avoids forbidden errors and then it prices in the ~$1200 range.

Any specific dates?

I've tried this and it's pricing (like it was before) but it's coming up with $2k++ pricing.

The fare basis I used earlier was INX1A2S5/F179 looks like it was pulled from Sabre.

I was getting the forbidden error on my laptop on multiple browsers. Booked on my phone, JFK - FCO over Easter for $985. Connection thru LHR on the outbound, non-stop on the return. Thanks all for this tip!
