Which country has lower taxes for a stopover: France, Spain or Germany?

For travel August 1, 2016 or later, travel on any eligible purchased, published fare ticket on an American marketed flight (flights sold under an American flight number) will earn mileage credit based on the ticket price (base fare plus any mandatory carrier-imposed fees).

The T&C don't specify rules for BA-marketed, AA-operated, but when looking at the two items above, it's clear to me at least that you should be earning at the BA rates.
Yes, "marketed" is what matters, not "operated". But the problem, as I understand it, is that OP is seeing a BA flight # from Expedia and an AA flight # from AA, so the question is whether AA will consider the flight to be BA-marketed in the first place. I think it will, but OP should hang onto everything received from Expedia just in case.

France or Spain. However - how do you want to build in a stopover in France with those fare rules?

BA has code share flight number on AA non stop service from DFW to both CDG and MAD then I connect back to CAI via LHR on BA.

So I am thinking of having the return as following: HNL-(B777)DFW-CDG(Stop-over)-LHR-CAI

AA operates from ORD, PHL CLT and JFK to DUB

IB flies MIA and LAX amongst others at least to MAD, and possibly also to BCN in many cases.

AA has lots of other flights into Europe which (may) have BA codeshares on them.

I've not checked whether it would be possible to route using the BA codeshare on EI Flights to DUB, but they have a very good premium cabin option also to 10 or 11 US cities, and BA do codeshare on those flights, but I suspect it might take a BA call centre agent or good TA to book this routing if you were interested.

When a carrier (in this case, BA) sells a codeshare flight operated by a different carrier (in this case, AA), the operating carrier (ie, AA) will typically show the flight in its system as the actual operating flight number (ie, AAxxxx), with a notation in the remarks that it was sold as a different flight number (ie, BAxxxx).

A very, very quick scan on Matrix throws up the following, but no doubt someone can do much better:

Thanks - it appears that leaving 22nd Oct & returning 25th or 26th are the only possibilities in the next 6-9 months?

Really?

It would say that it is very limited, at best.
