Mentioned earlier upthread, but Le Méridien Salt Lake City Downtown will be opening in October 2022 with 144 rooms, a farm-to-table New Orleans-/Cajun-inspired restaurant, rooftop bar, fitness facilities and meeting rooms. Address is 131 S 300 W.
The hotel will be connected to Element Salt Lake City Downtown at 145 S 300 W, also opening in October 2022 with 120 rooms and a rooftop bar. khabah |

Just noticed that The Madison Hotel Washington DC, currently trading as a Hilton, has appeared on Marriott's directory with a Le Méridien template. The WASMM property code is also consistent with Le Méridien branding - would be great to see the flag land in DC proper!
The hotel is branded as "The Madison Hotel" on Marriott's website with no info or photos yet, but I would think we'd see more information after it leaves Hilton on March 31st. Perhaps a renovation would be included to bring it in line with the marque, and a potential rebranding to Le Méridien Washington DC, The Madison. khabah |

Part of the Sky Ala Moana condo / retail project just north of Ala Moana shopping center, with ECD in 2023:
Marriott's Renaissance Hotels brand to return to Hawaii at Sky Ala Moana (paywall) The 39-story hotel tower will have a lobby, restaurant and bar and residential office on the ground floor. An eighth-floor amenities level will have a boardroom, pool bar and grill, two pools, a fitness center and a spa...The 187-room hotel will share the hotel entrance with the 113 Renaissance Residences hotel-condominium units that will be located on the upper floors of the hotel tower. Sky Ala Moana will have a second residential tower with a total of 474 residential condominium units. The project will also have 15,712 square feet of commercial space. |
Courtyard by Marriott Kazan Kremlin and several other hotels in Russia have left Marriott due to - I believe - having links to entities under US/EU sanctions.
