Not sure, I've seen people post conflicting information regarding the list of properties that Marriott defaulted on the agreement.

The Wiki mentions a W hotel opening in Turks and Caicos Islands but I can't find anything about it online. Does anyone know where this information came from?

List of the hotels Marriott is losing due to the default with Service Properties Trust, assuming no changes since the article date.

Anyone know of St. Regis opening guesstimates for Cabo, Riviera Maya, and Bermuda?

A solid source pointed me to three upcoming hotels:
  • Le Méridien Chicago Downtown / opening January 2021 / a rebrand of the existing Hotel Essex Chicago at 800 S Michigan, which was recently comprehensively renovated and looks beautiful - it should make for a perfect Le Méridien with its mid-century building setting and furnishings
  • The St. Regis Chicago / opening August 2021 / this hotel will open within the Vista Tower at 363 E Wacker Drive instead of the Wanda Vista assuming that the Wanda Group has divested its interest in the hotel the way they did with some of their other projects like One Nine Elms in London [opening as a Park Hyatt]
  • The St. Regis Budapest / opening March 2022 / a renovation and rebranding of the former Buddha-Bar Hotel on Váci utca, and incidentally the mirror building of the upcoming Matild Palace [Luxury Collection] hotel
As for the question about upcoming St. Regis openings above, Bermuda is scheduled for April 2021, Riviera Maya in October 2021 and Cabo in September 2023.

Any news about W Ubud?
Supposedly opened in 2020 but I believe 2021 or even 2022 will be better guesstimate

This location was originally listed by IHG as a future Holiday Inn Express, but that listing disappeared a year or so ago. Quite a change in direction

This is exciting: plans were approved this past Thursday to comprehensively renovate the Hotel Texas Annex in Fort Worth, Texas - an annex building to the current Hilton Fort Worth which has been shuttered since 2006 - into Le Méridien Fort Worth.

Construction is planned to begin in Q2 2021 with the hotel opening in early 2023.

Received confirmation today from a source at The Westin/Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Dubai today that the new tower going up adjacent to Le Méridien Mina Seyahi, which was supposed to be an extension to that hotel, will officially be opening as a W in Q4 2021.
