Yeah that matches other DPs where a few will work. Problem is when another MSer was there before you, or if you have lot of VGCs to unload

I never do more than 2 in 1 location.
Discover only lets you do 1K anyway, and so doing multiple will look super shady.
I suspect this is why I've never had a problem.

Called vanilla they said no holds on the card, it’s the merchant. Possible velocity at this particular WM but no way to know I guess?

Need more DPs on this. I’ve had one successful DP loading $198 Staples vgc at WM, although the MO thread seems to indicate there is a $99 hard limit.

409758 BIN? I wonder if there's some combination of WM and Incomm both blocking these in problem areas that see high incidence of fraud, while other stores escape this.

6/32 Vanilla failed for me yesterday at the money center for $500, and then about an hour later it also failed at a regular register for $450. It was definitely not a velocity issue at the money center, as the place was dead.

i’m still thinking it’s store specific.

I have some time so will try 2 stores today and report back. Hope these vanillas are not permanently done... would suck.
Sanity check - previously failed card just loaded $100 onto AMZ balance no problem. Knew it would but just wanted to be sure.... phew

Well, I have no explanation for this.

3 WMs involved (WM1, WM2, WM3). Note that WM3 is the busiest.
Yesterday @ WM1 - 2 Vanillas (VVGC1 and VVGC2) failed for 500 and 450 (both). Cards were not locked (as per my previous post).
Today, I bought $100 worth of AMZ reload with VVGC1.
@ WM3 - VVGC1 loaded onto discover at full $400 remaining balance. VVGC2 failed for 500 and 450. Staples VGC failed for $50 !! (it was down to $101 balance and had a pin set... should have worked up to $99)
I bought something small at SCO with VVGC2 to make sure it worked. It did.
@ WM2 - VVGC2 failed for 450. VVGC3 (one that I purchased 2 days ago) failed for 500.
@ WM3 - VVGC2 failed for 450, 250, and Staples VGC also failed for $50

Bummer, man.

damn, like others VVGC bought at WM issued by Pathward failed 😕; any folks still has success loading $500 or any lower amount?

Literally my post above, ONE of them worked for $400 after using it to do a AMZ reload.

Have bought a few dozen of these this week, they've been 100% reliable doing 2 at a time for 1K Discover loads. Haven't had the nerve to do two 1K loads back-to-back (I have multiple Discover accts) due to velocity concerns. PS: I know it doesn't totally guarantee the cards haven't been tampered with, but I only buy consecutive serial #'s.

mine with SS silver #40975808 & the yellow 40975823 from WM did NOT work for loading only $250 😢...
ya think a MO for less than $500 will work at Kroger or Safeway? Or could wait for a day or 2 later to try again?
