For the full amount on the card? And was that a $500 card?
Your DP is important and details make the DP ;)

Yesterday I was in a WMNM with a multiday broken MO machine. I tried to load my D with $500SS. No go. I went to another WMNM and tried to load the same $500SS. No go. I went through self check and bought something for $4.50 and used the same $500SS with success. I went back to CS and asked to load the $495.50 bal on my SS. It worked. I has another $500SS and asked to load it. No go. I went to self check and made a $8.34 purchase. I went back to CS and successfully loaded the $491.66SS bal to my D.

This is a well known, we'll documented issue with InComm. Look around the other threads (mainly MO at WM thread) for details. Just load any amount <500. That works

No problem loading $500 using Vanilla serviced by incomm. Card expiration date was 08/32 if anyone is curious.

does this mean there is no velocity issue etc? just load less than 500 ( say 499 and it will work like how it used to work before chirstmas)

DP:

Purchased 500 Vanilla/Path Ex 7/31, Central Cali from Safeway this morning. Little over 1 hour later loaded 480 no problem.

I only loaded 480 as a test to make sure it worked.

I was able to inch up the load to $497.00. today. It was a SS Meta.

It’s becoming a game of whack a mole. I will see your $499.00 and raise you $1.00 tomorrow. To be continued.

Make that $0.99 more. One more penny and that puts you back at the GC's full value and it seems that is not going so well :o

if you were to load discover at regular walmart register is there a max load limit? or it is whatever the cashier would allow? I know the daily maximum load limit from disover is 1K.

I have read that people loaded their Discover card with a Simon VGC with $999 at Walmart
