The question isn't whether your gebit is bad, but where the problem exists, in the transmitter of information (WM) or the receiver of it (Discover) The question is whether Discover is blocking loading its card using GCs or is WM. Can one load a Discover debit card at some other place other than WM? If there is, the answer is to load the card outside of a WM with the non-functional GC. if it loads, then the problem is WM, if not, then it is Discover. You already proved that the GC card worked on BB ;) |

is it possible that USB itself is blocking the card for certain txns, and the problem is neither WM nor discover? sorta like the BHN issues?
have you guys tried a smaller load such as $200? |
There is nothing wrong with discover. USB card might be a problem. Just loaded discover with the vanilla and SSVGC without any trouble.

Several months ago, I accidentally put $50 on the $500 VVGC on USB from Kro*** and purchased it. I just tried at WM for loading Discover full $50. Went thru.

What would be a true test is to use USB for items ..

Only if you make the purchases using debit and not credit.

Ok, then they shouldn't assume that discover is the problem here. Doesn't matter what the issuer is, only "serviced by" is playing the big role here. Cards were issued by pathward and BHN but they both serviced by Incomm.

Datapoint -was able to load to discover at WM with SSVGC. This confirms, to me, the issue is with usb and wm

Where are you all finding SSVGCs? I checked 2 WM locations, nada. Only found the Vanilla Holiday Pathward VGCs
