Easy?? That account now has human eyes on it, and i would not be surprised if they ask for tax returns to verify income, as well as other documentation. In fact, they might just not ask for anything and simply shutter the account.
tonysmom Please let us know if any adverse events occur with your dealings with Discover. TIA ;:) |
That's a KYC (know your customer) call and common when MSing with banks in general to cover their own butts when they see all this money flow. In some cases the call can greenlight you and in other cases you can be shutdown. My CU called me about source of my money order deposits and I was just honest I was just moving money around to earn rewards. Still depositing there 5 years later.

Part of the reason is that I knew something was going on. I failed to load money to the Discover account twice at the end of October. Then I was able to load the money again in November. I reviewed the transactions, but it seemed that I was within the stated limits. FYI, the call came from 800-347-0350.

That's not what I asked though. I was wondering if you or other customers felt like it was beneficial to them to feed the bank's AI more info about themselves. Would you get the same or better outcome if you ghosted them?

At my local WM a few days ago, some idiot tried loading with 50 or so GCs that all failed, just swiping and swiping away. Asset protection called the police and a HUGE scene was made. Probably burned this WM for me.
If you are the idiot local to Orange County in CA, please do me a favor and cut up your cards and quit this game. Jesus Christ. |

Bought SSVGC at WM, tried load $400 of $500 on the card at MS and CSR said "need to check with your bank they blocked it".
Fairly certain she was not exactly correct, but wonder why this occurred? Do I need to wait 24hrs? |
