Does Discover Bank ever offer a sign-up bonus foe the checking/Debit card account? I'm late to this game and was going to open an account today, but thought I'd inquire first, as I haven't seen any SUB's for this account. I'm also assuming no hard pull for new accounts??

Any datapoints on Pathward $200 MCGCs recently?
Looking to know if I have to do 49/99 or can do straight 200 swipes.

I saw a post on r/churning that they work as the second swipe in a split transaction for MO at WM CS/MC. However, I've not tried it myself. I'll be trying today or tomorrow to convert them to SS VGC at WM SCO. Will report back

Picked up a ton of BHN VGC and MCGC during Staples sales. Worth it for the SUB + 5x on CIC.

So I tried it. Only works for VGC at $99/swipe. No love for MCGC. Never asks for the PIN so I assume is running as credit and no chance to run as debit. Lot's of chatter about this IRT buying MOs. They say if you run the card before the CSR asks you to, you'll get a menu that allows you to select "run as debit". Wasn't able to get that at SCO.

I'm probs going to have to OS these.

Ive found that PW VGCs load at $99, the MB only 49. Both services by BHN but don’t swipe the same.

I’m still looking for something that I can load 200-400 at a time. No luck thus far.

PS... 4-5.95 per $500 card, but still can drain 5 X $99 VGC this way. So, the "fee" is about 1% - 1.2%

I've heard Platiq works for the BHN MCGCs but that costs 2.9% + $1.99 "send fee", so it's a pricy option.

Just to be thorough, I tried to convert my BHN MCGCs to a SS at SCO today using $49/swipe. Still no love. Unless anyone here knows of a way to use the BHN MCGC at WM, it's going to have to be OS. With that, I guess it's just better to ignore the Staples MCGC sales and stick with VGC.
