Discover load failing

I have only started loading discover debit the last 30 days or so and have only done $10k or less. However l, the last three times it will fail at the last step. The card still shows open in the app. Is it already shut down or Walmart has somehow blocked the card on its own? I have tried in two different WM and had the same result with two different gebits. The same gebits worked to load One. Anyone experienced this?

You're probably exceeding the $1k per 24hr limit.

I tried after full 24 hours. So I was at least 36 hours from the last load. Weird..

How much did you load per 30 days?

there is speculation that the 30d limit is $10k, not $20k. please check exactly what you've loaded

I also had the same issue. I was under daily/monthly limit. I had contacted to customer care as per them the issue is with debit card. They have produced new debit card which should work fine as per them. I am still waiting for my new debit card.

I confirmed with customer care and monthly limit is 20k

P1-4 monthly limit has been 10k from the start. The app and CS states 20k and don't have an answer why we can't load past 10k. I've asked twice months apart.

The amount you were trying to load would have taken you above $10,000 for November. So Load fails at end.

Has anyone experienced a bad strip on their VGC? Tried on two different registers. Machine could not read card. Then said card read error

Got one that the strip wasn't able to swipe. End up spending online for bills.

I would use the card right away. Some scammers are demagnetizing the strip.

Wow. All this increase in fraud is making me think about buying a card reader, just so I can verify my cards are all good as soon as I buy them. I had heard of some scammers putting superglue on the mag-stripe, to ensure it won't work at any terminal. Demagnetizing the strip would be a lot harder (though not impossible) as scammer would need to have a pretty high powered magnet to pull that off.
