Lol, attempted to load $2 to Amazon acct with pathward-issued vgc also failed or got cancelled; called vanilla who said the card is available for use, not blocked or restricted...

Back to my normal WM today and no issues loading $1K (2 X 500) Suttons followed by a two-swipe MO.

Per the wiki:
Amount limits: 4. $20,000 maximum per calendar month (mixed DPs, T&C states calendar month but FTers state rolling 30 days) Does anyone know for sure this 20K max is indeed still accurate? I thought I saw recent post(s) speculating it's more like 10K, and I just tried a load that would have pushed me past 10K and it got rejected with the printer spitting out the little piece of paper saying Debit Not Approved Call Authorizer |

DP: Bought a Vanilla VGC at CVS with BIN 411810 (exp 03/30) with $500 and tried to load $475 at WM into Discover card. Did not work with "card error". It was about 2h after buying the card, but online it showed "active" I tried twice and I think it got the card put on hold. The customer service had to activate it again for me.
Two questions: 1) I only see the Vanilla's that you can load with 20-500. There are no fixed $500s correct? 2) Did anyone else get "card" error before? *edit*: Even after reactivation not going through for an online utility payment. Will check once again tomorrow morning and then ask for a replacement |
