Are those mid-jan purchases made when TCB is having a higher CB promo on GCM?

I made a purchase during the valentines day. I know there was a higher promo CB rate then, but forget to note down how much, and today TCB send me an email indicating it is now posted. It is tracked at 2%. Did anyone else here made some vgc purchases during then, and if yes, what is the CB rate posted?

It's up to you, but you can file a ticket. Given that it took a month to update all of our mid Jan debacles, expect something similar in terms of wait time for GCM/TCB to resolve. I had an order from Feb 8 not track and I filed a ticket earlier this week and I'm expecting a month to sort out.

I did the same thing and it tracked today at only 2%

what do you say when you write TCB in the situation where the transaction was posted, but CB rate posted was not correct? i just dont want to ruffle any feathers and cause trouble to all of us since we are already getting a higher CB rate than published

I am just going to let it go the way it is. I am not sure it is worth the time and effort to get it changed.

Somewhere along the way I read that a good practice to not getting banned on GCM is to wait until your last transaction posts on your credit card before creating another purchase. Is this an urban legend or good practice? I'm just seeking out what level of velocity I should drive for with GCM. $3-4K a week (assuming 2-3 day post times) is not bad, but not ideal.

Maybe, both of my issues were my orders that did not track were because I made two orders within 3 days of each other, but I paid with different credit cards, however, both sets of two orders arrived on the same day even though the orders were placed 48 hours apart.

What I am overlooking is the rolling 30-day cap of $15k that would make an aggressive ordering strategy irrelevant. If I pace myself to waiting until the posting date to re-order, I'll still hit 15K within the 30 days and not run the risk of issues, real or not.

Thanks!

My Yazing order is also tracking at 2%, higher than their advertised 1.25% for Visa. Same thing that's going on at TCB.

On that note, my TCB cashback finally posted as payable on two transactions, two months to the date they were made on.

That's what I have been doing after learning my lesson. There was once where I did two orders within 3-4 days time period unintentionally, with the second order made when the first one hasnt posted officially to my CC account. Next thing I know is that I got a verification phone call. I would rather avoid that, not to mention I would want to avoid myself being perma-banned.

Thanks. Sound like Yazing is a good alternative to TCB too then.

Any suggestion on which GC model to you. I usually order from giftcards.com.

Appreciate if anyone can point me towards the model which i can use to get MO from Kroger or walmart without the CR raising an eye.

Thanks in advance
