The wiki says that orders can be lost or stolen. Surely this many people aren't all assuming that risk without any potential recourse, right?

I'm tempted to give GCM a shot, but the thought of losing $1k - $2k definitely makes me cringe. I'd have to MS a TON to get back to even after that.

Has anyone ever had a shipment lost or stolen? What can you do to recover the funds or gift cards? File complaint with credit card company? GCM? USPS?

Call to have the cards reissued or canceled if your order doesn't arrive. Cards usually arrive within 5-10 days.

GCM will only ship to your billing address correct? I cannot have them sent to a local PO box, even if it has a regular street style address? i.e. 123 Main Street #46 versus PO#46?

Correct, GC will though.

Anyone ever give GCM a call or send them feedback that their envelopes often arrive opened? Seems like a simple fix would be to add tape in addition to seal.

I tried an order for 2x500 for the first time in years and got the error message in the wiki. Is this normal and I should just try tomorrow? Card info is correct. The full purchase amount shows up in my CC's pending transactions.

Starting to get a little worried. I ordered on Feb 19th and another on Feb 24th and haven't received anything yet. Been over 10 days at this point. Has anyone who ordered from the 19th on received their cards yet? I'm in MI if that's any help.

Thanks!

This transaction was not completed. The transaction was not submitted correctly, or has been declined by your card issuer. You can try again with a different card or review your payment information for any necessary corrections.

Check your cc for pending or posted payments and call about your order if you are concerned. Sometimes GCM was taking up to 2 weeks for delivery.

Thanks, I will call today. Both purchases have been posted. 19th transaction on the 22nd and 24th on the 28th.

Should I be focusing on posted date?

Dont worry yet. I'm waiting on 22 and 25 so yours aren't far off from mine. GCM is kind strange how they bunch up their mail. I typically see multiple envelopes arrive on the same day. 20th was a holiday by the way.

Um, you're not even at two weeks on the first order. They have taken 14-21 days plenty of times in the past based on their volume. Relax.
