Make your own, zealous cashiers at Walmart can't turn you back for using a card with your name and picture on it!

Put in an order today (18th) for 1500. Any idea how long it will post to my Amex. I need it to post by 20th for meeting minimum spend. Should have done it sooner. Any idea if I have a chance or not? I also put in an order with gc.com since I've hear they post sooner.

thats cutting it close. Even if you went to a Simon mall location. Transaction might not post in time.

I order once only once in a while. Orders $1K on Friday but the order was later rejected. No phone call nothing. Only thing I can think of was that I used my wife's card on my account...if that matters.

Does getting rejected without phone call means ban? Or can I try again in couple of days?

you might get a call Tuesday since Monday is a holiday. You could try in a few days worse case your order is rejected again.

Staples vgc come from GCM so are staples orders also included in the $15k monthly limit? I know the wiki says the limit is specific to a GCM account but not sure how accurate that is.

Sure they can. Ive definitely been rejected for GCM and GC.com cards. It says gift on the front, and gcm has the value. And if that's not enough Ive actually had cashiers flip the card over to read what bank it was and deny it based on the back info!

I will ask this here since it is related to metabank visa debit cards managed by giftcardmall....Is there a standard zip code associated with cards. I know you can call and register for online, but all it really needs is card#/exp date/security code/ and zip code....sooooo anyone have a clue where they are registered or manufactured or shipped from....any good guesses?

Yeah that's a bit extreme, even the tough guy working at my local WMNM was appeased by comparing the name on my DL to my GCM giftcards.

Groceries by me in the NY area have tightened the screws.
I've had 2 CSRs in 2 different places tell me that they only allow Debit cards with the name of a bank. Just last week the same place (and in one place, the same person) allow the card without even looking.
