I thought I paid for usps signature delivery for the 5 Back promo.... paid $10.95 per order.

I did receive my orders today, with tracking, but it was left at my mailbox.

Anyone else had their deliveries left at mailbox?

You did pay for Signature confirmation. Honestly if one was not ethical it would be a good opportunity to stick it to the USPS since they would have no signature even though it was ordered. I found when I used USPS sometimes they would deliver to mailbox and sometimes would ring the doorbell, wake up the kid, and ask for a signature. Total crap shoot as to what happens... My experience with UPS has been poor as well, but for other reasons.

I forgot to mention that these came in slightly smaller brown envelopes instead of the usual white ones.

Had three orders, all regular/free mail. Interesting thing is that the first one, a single regular $500 VGC never even moved from "Pending" on my GCM screen.

who knows with GCM... I remember one time I paid for shipping on custom VGC (7K+ order) and it came in a plastic envelope first class mail. The only time it ever occurred but I thought it was odd.

That just happened to me on my last shipment as well. Apparently it is a new thing. I called UPS and told them I won't be home when they try to deliver it, and was told I would have to contact the shipper and ask them to lift the restriction. Lame.

So, here is what I found out. Even if you put a vacation hold during the time that it will be delivered UPS will not honor your vacation hold. They will actually go to your residence, attempt to deliver, and leave a note. They will do this 3 times. I talked with customer service and told them that I would be worried that my home might get robbed since people could easily see I was not home. They said there was nothing they could do based on the shipper description. That's more than just Lame.

The five-back cards I ordered last week from GCM were shipped from a different place apparently, and UPS is able to send them to an access point for me to pick up at my convenience.
