I am seeing the same thing. I wonder if that is permanent?

Request for feedback from the group please:
Assuming your address has remained the same: 1) Do you always order from the same computer? 2) Were orders from a different computer at the same physical site successful, or rejected and then shut down? 3) Were orders from a different physical site and different computer successful, or rejected and then shut down? One gets paranoid to mess with their system that works (I have 3 different accounts for 3 different family members at the same physical household and submit orders for all from the same computer same web browser). I have intentionally enforced this behavior. But perhaps this is excessive? It certainly would be more convenient to me to not use a particular computer (at a location different than my home address) to place these orders. But, with at least another 50k min spend to go (Before I even apply for more cards) I don't want to endanger anything. |

While opinions are welcome ... however, I do note that you are new to MS as of the beginning of this year according your post history. So as to whether it sounds excessive to you, I'm going to push back a bit and again ask, regardless of what you think it sounds like, do you have experience with those scenarios laid out above? There *have* been many people banned from GCM for vague reasons. It doesn't seem excessive to me to protect my 45k/month pathway particularly if someone has positive or negative experience to share one way or the other.

GCM orders placed on 15,16,17,18,19 have now all tracked correctly without needing to submit anything. Orders on 21,22,23,24,25 have not.

TCB responded to my two missing cb claims for may 16th and 17th today. They are now tracking at the requested 2%.

For example, I have two accounts that order from 2 specific devices on one shared IP. They have been working fine this whole time. Last month I tried to put in an order on both of them as usual, on a card that was stored in the account and used before, exactly the way orders have been submitted successfully in the past. Order couldn't even be placed. Tried using another card saved in account, still fails. I wipe cookies and it fails. I then change their IP addresses to 2 completely new addresses that have never ben used for an order and it fails. I then wipe cookies and both process. The next day I placed another order on the original IP address, no issue. I've done a lot of tests to try and identify the cause, and I have a couple theories, but it'll take many more months of data points.

fauxreals or anyone, how do you folks change ip address? so far frustrated that couldn't place any more order since last sept. after only a few orders worth less than $5k, felt that had tried different methods to get an order completed again but no go; one thing haven't done is to change ip address; will turn off both the modem & router overnight work? i might have lost patience or too frustrated to stop trying again...

fauxreals & Carl, I only use one account, but I'd suggest trying to control for browser (assuming you haven't done it already), that is make sure the browser isn't the problem. One reason this could be, a browser might be set up to automatically report the location or not.

For dsl users you just reset modem to get new ip for cable you need custom router firmware to change MAC address and reset both modem and router.

Its $30 / yr for Private Internet Access (PIA). Change IPs easily & quickly using VPN software. Its good for a lot of other things too, like Kodi, Torrents...
I am not affiliated with these guys. |
I think VPN is one way, and if you are unable / lazy to reset modem, then will it work if you walk to Comcast, swap a new modem, and come back to start the internet again? Different modem = different IP, right?
danhouston, I really dont think this will solve the problem completely. I have a feeling that when GCM bans you, it's a name + address + god knows what else ban. Unless you are also changing your shipping + billing address... then maybe better chance to circumvent ban. One easy way to test out first before going through these hassles : bring your laptop to the local library, hook up to wifi, and make a GCM purchase from there. Then see if it goes through. I havent done that yet since I am lazy / no time even though library is only less than a mile down the road from me. |

I have a chrome book and chrome does not work for submitting orders(the submit button does not work), so I use chrome to log in and set up my custom order and then use Safari on my phone to place the order. I have 5 accounts now between 2 people and I make sure to only order from one account for each person a day, otherwise they call and ask why you are using so many emails. Sometimes I need to shutdown my phone and clear cache/history between orders. TCB always takes 2 days to track my orders. |
:confused:I'd like to create second account for spouse, but we only have one bill to ship to address. I've been doing well on my original account since last year, but once I hit $15k, I switch GC dot com.
I sense there are ways of doing this, to hit 30k per month, but having only one address limits us. Any suggestions. PM me if you prefer. If I just open an account for her and start ordering, I think my smooth ride will be over. Areas of concern are: Only one Shared IP address One bill to address One ship to address |
