Anyone have any experience paying off student loans using Evolve? If I were to fully pay off a student loan and then accidentally overpay by say $20 or something, what would happen? Would I lose the $20, would it be refunded back to my card or would the student loan servicing cut me a check for the $20? Any info experience either in thread or via PM would be appreciated. Thanks!

what kind of prepaid debit card work for evolve? First time user here and I just tried to liquidate some rebate card (debit visa issued from chase) from the recent staples deal, but kept getting "invalid card"? Will it take Amex GC?

It should be applied to the next months payment as a prepayment. So your next months due payment will be less your overpayment +/- any relevant interest. At least that is my experience paying ACS with evolve.

Has anyone paid FIA CARD services with Evolve? I contacted them to add them but find it strange they weren't listed.

Are you talking about paying off a CC? If so, that is not strange at all.

Does anyone know if Evolve is just a pass-through, or if it takes possession of our money before paying a bill? It seems to taking 4-6 days for a payment to post to a bank loan I have been paying with it. I'm a little concerned about having money in transit if Evolve were to go bankrupt, insolvent, etc. If it is just a pass-through and Evolve never holds the funds, then perhaps there is less cause for concern. Also, there isn't FDIC or other federal insurance on our funds, is there?
I paid my PG&E bill using Evolve Money with GoBank Visa debit card, and the payment was categorized as "PayByPhone MasterCard". |

I believe they take possession of our money first then pay by themselves, instead of passthrough.

I thought Evolve couldn't pay off a cc?

Did that incur any fees from PG&E as a result, or that was simply the name of the company making the payment?
I was expecting that Evolve Money too will be listed as "Checking Account". |
Just reporting success making car payment to Lexus Financial Services, total payment is $741, I spaced $200, $200, $200 and $141.25 payments 10 minutes apart on Friday May 23, and today Monday May 26 my car bill shows paid online with Lexus, with the next one due in July instead of June. Used Staples VG's. :D
Next try will be my mortgage with the credit union for next month. |
