Paid our car loan at BMW Financial using Visa GCs - called BMW and seemed to work fine.

Now I'm toying with trying our mortgage, which is with US Bank. I called US Bank and they said they hold partial payments until the correct sum is reached, at which point it goes off to pay our regular bill (not prepay principal). CSR did warn me not to prepay to soon after paying off a bill, as that might get credited to principal. Anyone tried with this bank?

Has anyone tried Metlife payment yet? Evolve shows the payment was delivered on 2/21, but nothing on metlife yet, not even pending payment according to metlife CSR.

Well. The payment got returned today. How soon does returned payment hit the card that sent the payment?

It is just my luck I guess... none of my billers are available. If anyone has tried any of the following, please post. Thanks!
* New York Community Bank Mortgage (mynycb.com)
* Pentagon Federal Credit Union Auto Loan (penfed.org)
* University Federal Credit Union Auto Loan (ufcu.org)

I have entered request at Evolve to add each of these billers, lets see if they do.

They want you to scan in your bill and send it to them.

I did get that response by email. But, I'm not sure where to send the scanned bills. Reply back to the same email address [email protected]? Has anyone done this with success?

I replied to that message and received a confirmation of receipt the next day.

I just paid my Ocwen Mortgage. I will report back if there are any issues. Used a prepaid unregistered debt card.

I see lots of posts about mortgage payments.

I have always over paid and I have always made multiple payments each month. The way it works with them:
my mortgage payment is due the 12th of the month.
Any payment received from the 12th through the 11th of the next month gets applied to that month with any over payment credited towards principal.
The only exception is if my escrow account is short due to a tax increase, then they will apply extra payments towards my escrow account.

This company holds my payments as a positive balance until the next payment is made sometimes and the way it appears on my account is very odd, but it always works out fine.

With some companies you can to set a preference on your account telling them how you want extra payments applied.

Why is there no wiki?

22calbr Feb 26, 2014 4:45 pm

Please someone create a wiki since I am too lazy to read all 12 pages and create one myself. TIA.

You don't have the ability to create a wiki, FYI.

I did scan the Banana republic dual card bill and send it to them and they replied that since it is Visa CC it is not allowed at the moment to pay CCs through their service. However, 2 questions:

1. I had seen earlier this card listed but has been recently pulled. Was it mistake that they realized later and pulled it?
2. The still have some banana republic, old navy and gap cards still listed. Wondering what type of accounts are they since CC's are not allowed. All 3 of them have a special message listed under them warning that it is not the dual card.

Surprised they let you consolidate the partial payments into a monthly payment. You confirmed this worked and they got re-coded from principal payment to monthly payment online?

Yes, confirmed. They reversed a bunch of payments and then credited the payment properly. Initially, my everything paid into principal and my payment due date was still 3/1. Now my principal amount is back up and next payment due is 4/1.

But you DID have to call to make this happen, right?
