Similar situation with my Chase mortgage - trying the same thing this weekend with two accounts over two days. Will report back.

The wait time is 5+ minutes for the same payee across multiple EV accounts.

Had one at 12 minutes fail, I started waiting somewhere around a half hour or so between now, since the hold has been on there for over 2 weeks

Has anyone successfully been able to pay Cigna? I made a few payments on 2/11 and the payment has not been posted. I've escalated with cigna and evolve, but the $ hasn't been located on cigna's side. As it's been too long, I will just see about getting evolve to refund the $$. way too much hassle.

How quickly did your test payment go through?

Going to try paying >$2k WF mortgage this weekend. Will be trying multiple GC's w/ multiple accounts, spaced out at least 30 mins between payments, all on the same day. Will be a bit of a hassle but I want this to work.

Will report back on whether it was a principal payment or automatically applied as monthly payment.

Evolve Money

BTW anyone know if GC's need to be registered online (address, zip, etc) before being used to pay?

Bill submission failed:

My payment was failed. However, my VGC was still charged. Do you know how long will Evolve send back money to my VGC? Do I need to call them? My payment was failed on March 19. Today, I still see 0$ in my VGC.

I really dont know why it is failed but Evolve still charged my VGC :(

It was only pre-authorization (or termed "authorization hold"); not actual charge.

It took me five business days for the hold to be released in the Evolve Money case. You may call VGC to confirm the actual length for the release.

What is the benefit of paying mortgage using prepaid debit card through Evolve money instead of available option using BB paper check?

If you use Grocery prepaid card then the net benefit is 6% cash back minus 1.25% annual fee minus 1.19% prepaid card fee= 3.56%

If you use VR through BB paper check then you get net 4.21%.

Unless people want to use prepaid card in addition to BB limit then it is a different story.

The benefit is that BB can be used to pay virtually anybody but Evolve is restricted to the merchants in their system. If I pay my mortgage through Evolve, I can save my BB payments for credit cards.

It is not an actual charge, but why I see 0$ in my gift card. Do you know why? Will I lose the money?:(
