Has anyone paid a lower amount than is on the prepaid card? For instance, the bill is $70, the prepaid has $100.
I am a bit leery after last month. I had a $21 card that was pre-authorized by Evolve - but it didn't go through. The card now has $0 balance. I have been back and forth with Staples still hoping to get the money reinstated.

I've been paying smaller bills such as utilities for months via evolve. Hey, every mile counts :) Use $500 cards. Never an issue with them pre-authorizing more than the actual bill amount.

I was using a $200 US Bank Mastercard GC from an office store. I've burned tons of these cards in the past through Evolve.

I do it regularly, writing down the amount left over on the card itself. No issues so far. Temp authorizations take about a week to drop off, so if your Staples card is still showing $0 balance after a week, you should contact Evolve and Staples.

I got the same error today on a US Bank mastercard GC. I had no problem about a week ago.

i cant pay my sallie mae bill with evolve. Ive tried the 10 digit acct # that shows on the webpage and the 10 digit+1 check digit # that's on the paper bill. both have been returned to me

Exactly the same for me. Used 3 last week, yesterday and today, nothing but errors

Sent three payments to Harris with some rebate visa cards. First one arrive on time, the other two are at least 1 day late. CSR said wait for 3-5 biz days and call back. Will see.

I had the same error this morning with a MC. I tried a Visa and it went through just fine.

evolve customer support got back to me and told me that my MC gift cards are no longer being recognized as debit, even with a pin set. This would be a bummer.

So who here got payment #100000?
