i can't seem to locate Chase or Citi credit cards as a provider.
Anyone have this issue? I tried searching under Chase and Citi..the results are mainly student loan or auto loan. |
Chase Mortgage
I appreciate everyone's responses to my initial question. Just wondering if anyone has done partial Chase mortgage payment using Evolve and the rest via bank payment and it worked out as a 1 payment. Someone upthread mentioned that they hold cash until full payment is received so, if I have a $2,005 payment due. Can I pay $1,000 x 2 days and then just pay $5 from my bank account? It may sound silly but I would rather deal with round numbers due to AP, BB as those tend to be nice $1,000 payments each time.
Thank you, PedroNY |
For those w/ WF mortgages over $2k...
Pay Friday Night, Saturday Morning and Sunday Morning, ensure the total amount is the exact amount of your payment, and they should all post on Monday and count as your monthly payment. |
I see that Evolve has "Paypal Buyer Credit" as a payee. Does anyone know if this is "Paypal Smart Connect"?
As far as I know Paypal Buyer Credit is no longer around and became Smart Connect. |

Stretch it over a few days. Mine is just shy of $3000/mo, so I just send $1000/day for three days. My servicer is Greentree, and they apply the payment properly.

Fair point. Its very small, but that may be a disadvantage if they get annoyed with a bunch of $200 payments.

As for mortgages... I want to pay the monthly amount due as well as additional principal (for Capital One Home Loans). I am afraid that after surpassing the due amount... it will apply the additional $ to next month's payment rather than as additional principal.
Any thoughts ? |
If it helps anyone: Citi Mortgage, 2 payments sent, 900 and 400 (approx). Both delivered on Monday (one was scheduled late Friday and another on Saturday). Citi applied them as "Additional Funds Received", without counting against next payment due. Called the customer service and she fixed it, stating that I'll have to call in any time there are 2 payments for the same payment due, as the system doesn't automatically apply split payments.

I did not try the tricks surrounding 529's noted on blogs or in this thread. It seems a lot of people had issues on this. |

And don't you also need your payment to be due, i.e. too early it will not work
