This is an interesting subject. Some vendors just credit back to the original debit card to save a few cents. In this case, it may go back to your GC. And some vendor may choose to return the credit balance via check. You have to try and see if which one works...

if you mean this https://www.provident.com/
then a) they do take additional principal via evolve b) if you send them $1,000 during time when mortgage is due (from 1st to 15th) they will return it back to you (at least in my case, because my mortgage > 1K) and message said that payment was short When a Provident Funding bill is cut, they expect payment in full. Any payments less than a full monthly payment will be returned. Once the monthly payment is made, any further payments before the next bill is cut will be counted as principal payments and can be less than the monthly payment. Ex: $3000 mortgage due 06/01 Pay $999 from Evolve on 06/01, rejected Pay $3000 from bank account on 06/05 Pay $200 from Evolve on 06/10, will be accepted as additional principal payment Pay $300 from Evolve on 06/20, will be accepted as another additional principal payment New bill cuts 06/25 Pay $400 from Evolve on 06/28, rejected Anybody know if "batching" weekend payments to Provident Funding works? I.e., pay 1k on Friday, 1k on Sunday, 1k on Monday to cover a $3k mortgage? |
that sums it up very well.
as far as batching. additional principal works as batching (only tried from separate evolve accounts). so, you might try using 3 different evolve accounts and make payments in the same day for your mortgage payment. might work.

Is this how it works for most mortgage companies, or just Provident? I have WF.

question:
Is the limit 1000$ per day per evolve account per bill OR 1000$ per day per bill? Meaning you can use the same account to pay 2 separate bills the same day for 1000$ each? OR 1000$ per day per evolve account. Meaning if you have 2 separate bills of 1000$ each then can you pay them using two evolve accounts? |
$1000 per day split between all your bills. Paying your $100 electric bill and your $900 rent would max you out for the day.
You can make multiple accounts but people have been shut down for splitting a single bill between two accounts in one day. But you won't have a problem doing $1000 towards your mortgage on one account and your $400 car payment on another account in a single day. |
any heloc MS success stories to share (or PM)?

So Evolve is only online billpay? There isn't a card you can make purchases with?

I'm normally not really a fan of the piling on that goes on around here, but are you really asking this question on page 83 of this thread? Seriously, read the thread. |

It's pretty apparent what it is, from reading this thread, or even visiting the site.

If anyone knows how Evolve can help cycle money around (as opposed to paying dead end bills), please drop me a PM. I'll be too grateful.
