Per conversation with Evolve CSR minutes ago, the 4 payments per biller account limit was for rolling 30 days and this restriction is now enforced. My payment to Provident was blocked last night and my biller account will be blocked forever. He very apologized for this unexpected but steadfastily not doing anything to unblock it.

Are you saying that upon making a 5th payment within 30 days to one payee, that payee is permanently blocked without warning?

Was great while it lasted

Are you sure Evolve CRS said "rolling 30 days" and not calendar month?
Keeping track of 4 payments per rolling 30 days would be a PIA.

Well, its obvious they are losing money off of us, otherwise these changes wouldnt be impletemented. Seems like a fair solution to me would be to allow 4 free bill pays and then charge a small fee for each subsequent one, say $1.... Or charge a monthly fee for unlimited bps. Id pay $10+ a month for a service like that. Its too bad they had to decide just to block us altogether instead of taking advantage of the situation they had already created a user base for.

While I don't have that much in bills, I would have to say I agree with you. I think a lot of people would pay for an unlimited package.

Wonder whatever happened to "we're working on supporting mortgage payments"

ibleed0range Jun 5, 2014 10:47 am

I wish they would just allow unlimited payments to credit card for a fee. I would gladly pay $2-3 per $1K to pay my cc.

I was happy with Evolve for 4 payments. Then they killed off my biller. Now this, they are dead to me now.

There are websites that allow you to do that, but you won't find them that cheap.

Welp, time to start a new spreadsheet...

I just received a email from Evolve because of all my scheduled mortgage payments and that the account is suspended until July 1st with the 4 payment a month limit.

With my mortgage payment being nearly 4k a month, wondering what would be the best strategy to leverage using $500 OV cards to make the payment given that this limit would mean only being able to pay up to $2k as such.

Perhaps is there a way to make a "single payment" using multiple debit cards, as in a split transaction?

No, there is no way to do the full 4k a month unless you can get your hands on reloadits.

Can you please share the wording of the email?
Does say "4 payment a month limit", as in per calendar month?
Or, is there any reference to a 30-day rolling limit?

And not just reloadits but the ones with the $950 max limit. My area doesn't sell those.
