Only if you're buying the more expensive $5.95 VGCs. At my CVS the normal (gold gift-wrapped with ribbon) Vanilla Visa GCs are $4.95, while the seasonal ones are $5.95. At Walgreens there are more varieties, so I check the back to make sure what I'm buying costs $4.95.

Is it Over?

I don't want to be an alarmist, but just went to my local CVS and all versions of OV were off the shelves. I found a few in the wrong place, but the cash register would not allow me to purchase them. Message said something like "no gift card purchase. remove from stock." No one there seemed to know what was going on. Hope this is a one store issue. Anyone else with recent experience?

Dang...I guess I did get the nicer "seasonal" packs by mistake. Live and learn. wasted 2 bucks.

You know you will be the most hated figure in MS history if this actually turns out to be true? :D

I went to CVS at Lunch and it was empty as well and a few days ago it was full. In fact several spots were empty. Is it over for CVS now?

Bought 5k today so still working. But, do have to concede the once over abundant OV supplies are now dwindling while VR supplies are getting thick and meaty!

I went to CVS yesterday and the rack was empty of OVs. Of course, it was almost empty two days before when I bought a couple OVs, and there are still plenty of VGCs right below the empty spots. Don't worry so much over anecdotal data.
