I aplogise for this not being a pure MS question, but I know this audience will know the answer to a couple of questions:
(i) if you prepay (with V3) a BT account to the full cost of a years Line Rental Saver, can you still apply that credit balance to pay for the Line Rental Saver rather than charge it to a debit/credit card?
(ii) is the TV Licence pre-pay scheme still accepting V3?

I'm having success with the well known device that begins with Z. (Not spelling it out to avoid Google flagging it up in searches as FT is well indexed.)
0% fees help too.
I'm keeping the amounts sensible (four figures p/month) but it does requires a trusted third party.
