It wouldn't be Paypal that would get the Fee it is INCOMM (maybe paypal gets a slight cut but I highly doubt it) and it is a good way to get your Paypal account shut down. So as a friendly gesture I would do this only if you don't mind having your funds held or no more paypal account. Paypal also has an extensive process of verification including having you send in your social security card, proof of address ect to start using these types of cards.
That being said, all this information is in the thread below, give er a read. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/manuf...er-thread.html |

So did you read the post you responded to? It has nothing to do with Incomm. It's solely about PayPal, used for legit purposes, as intended, with fees going solely to PayPal.

I don't think paypal would see it as legit purposes or else there would not be as many reports of getting shut down this way. Needless to say it should still be in the paypal thread.

so it seems like most of these thread is about the PP cash card.
I had a question about using paypal the old fashioned way. I need to meet a spend as soon as possible. Can I just send my brother 3k as "money owed"? I'm ok with paying the fee. My sending limit is listed as "lifted" Is it a bad idea to do it this way? That being said someone should probably just help the guy out with a better "SAFER" , "CHEAPER" method. Of course maybe someone already sent him a PM to assist him, this is all figurative of course:eek: PS don't have the time to research the reports of closures or suspensions but they exist.... Tread with caution |

Does this read like he owes his brother 3K, and if he "REALLY" does, why are we writing about it in the "Manufactured Spending" sub forum. Wouldn't it be better served in the "Legitimate Honest to Goodness" sub forum.:D

MVD purchase limit
have you guys ever made a purchase over $800 on MVD?
I thought it is $800. but last week I accidentally selected $100 cash back on a purchase of $792.00, making the total purchase over $800. To my surprise, the purchase went through. so do you guys know what is the limit of the purchase on the card? Thanks a lot! |

Thank for the info. I have been buying MO at MW for <$800, and will try to <$1000 next time. :) :) :) |

I had bought a few money orders for $2K from the post office today and MVD charged $1.95 as a cash advance fee. I had used it as a debit card with PIN number. Is that a standard practice for MVD purchases in the post office? Is that why most of the FTers buy MO from Walmart?
Please let me know by PM or by responding to this thread. Appreciate your help. Edit: MVD charged me $1.95 and not $3.95 |
the only $3.95 fee is the dormancy fee. Their fee for cash advance should be $1.95, but they mostly charge $0.50 instead.
