By "they" I mean Incomm, the people that issue VRs and Bancorp, the company that hires them to do so.
Incomm and Bancorp make money off my VR fees as if I was letting $250k sit in a Vanilla account doing nothing. If anything, the retailers are the big losers. It's almost certain that their kickback (if it even exists) is less than the CC transaction fee. Given these numbers, I believe you would be crazy to think Incomm and Bancorp care about my CA activity. |
