Possibly, but it definitely means that they are still willing to waitlist pax for WBC in those fare buckets. If not, then the fare buckets will be closed, which in KL's case means they will not show up at all any longer.

Tomorrow's Amsterdam-Jakarta at €329 for Y to WBC. About 10-15 seats on offer, all sold within the first few hours of OLCI.

Would be surprised if anybody does. They asked the same AMS-CPH the other week, and the flight went ot with EB completely empty, and Y very nearly full.

Off topic, but does anybody know whether there are any limits to the number of lap infants allowed? There were at least ½ a dozen on that particular flight, i.e. more pax than seats in Y, although in that instance the six empty EB seats compensated for that.

Has KL cut capacity on these long haul routes that are showing up very cheap upgrade offers? Seems like they're experiencing very high Y loads.

CPH-AMS. Not offered, even though they are still willing to sell J6/C6/O6 in a two row/eight seat EB cabin. Weird! Will be interesting to see the load.

The CPH-AMS flight went out with six empty seats in EB. Beats me why they didn't try to sell them.

AMS-MNL tomorrow:

WBC - not offered
EC - 23 seats at € 110.-- (11 seats taken)
EER - 4 seats
Row of 2 - 4 seats

With over 24 hrs to departure, there were only 23 regular seats still up for grabs.

AMS-LIS at 70 euros. Tempting, but considering that I won't get any miles, I'm going to decline. Plus, the flight will be packed in Y, so I might get it anyway for free (well, that's one hope).

The original comment pertained to champagne in the KL lounge. So while Billecart-Salmon is on long haul flights (and seems to stay with us for a loong time to come), there is a different one in the lounge - cannot recall the brand, but it rather ok.
