Would calling in to book show different availability to phone agents?
Same issue going on with me - anyone know whats going on?? Thanks

Likely to be a system issue. I see full availability on palazzo.com

Did you happen to call in and ask? Would like to hear any update.

Do reward stays here count towards the 10% points back? I have this option as I did the $200 AMB renewal back in July.

It's been almost a month now and have been expecting to see 24,000 points returned. Or I'm too impatient and they'll post within the next week or so.
Yup, your points are coming, usually 6-8 weeks after checkout.

We called IHG and they can coordinate free night / points bookings directly with the hotel. It takes some time, they have to three way call a hotel rep to give them the redemption certificate # and for you to give a CC # to hold the res, but it can be done.

Question

Please tell, how does one get the resort fees ($35? per day) waived? I am Platinum/Ambassador.

Is stacking FHR and RA working here now in 2017? What to expect for upgrades? Is it better to book a higher class room to get a larger suite upgrade?

Also, has anyone stayed in this room? Only difference between Prestige and non-prestige, is access to the prestige lounge. Other than that, the room sounds like an entry level room.

So as RA booking Prestige, I could access either lounge? Is it worth it to book Prestige as RA?

RA lounge is next to the check-in desks. As I recall it provides basic coffee/tea and some very small snacks throughout the day. I heard you can also order cocktails but never tried. It's a nice place to call into if you are coming back from a walk, or want away from the casino floor for a bit.

The prestige lounge serves a selection of options at breakfast, and also serves some snacks in the evening along with alcohol. I found on several occasions that it was incredibly busy, to the point that there was nowhere to sit. As it's a paid-for lounge, anyone paying for it generally pays because they expect to use it such as they ensure they get more out than they put it. Prestige users are not entitled to take breakfast.

Anyone else getting this error when booking on IHG.com for the Palazzo? "We are sorry, our system is temporarily unavailable. Please try again or contact your nearest reservation office for assistance."

Yes, they don't put drinks out but you can order something and the waiter goes in back to get it.

The Prestige Lounge is your typical hotel lounge like the Regency Club in a Hyatt. Breakfast and afternoon drinks and snacks. One can buy access for $159/day/room. But you really don't want to do that because you want get out and sample the fantastic array of restaurants and lounges throughout the vast Venetian-Palazzo complex, most not owned by the hotels. And if you are going to spend that kind of money, it would be better spent on a larger suite rather than an entry level room with Prestige access.

Yes, all Fortuna suites have great views
