It must not have been the Bay View suite then. In the suite there are 2 rooms each having a 50" flat screen TV, the living room has sofas and a desk, there is a bathroom right near the front door and the main bathroom has heated floors which is nice in the winter.

There are at least two sizes, 72 and 83 meters. The front desk staff sometimes calls the smaller a junior or baby suite. The dividing wall is one of the distinguishing characteristics of the suite along with the separate bath as you enter the room. The ones I've stayed in have all had pocket doors to separate off the bedroom area. What did you like better about your king?

"Bay View" actually overlooks the Royal Hamarikyu Garden, Sumida-gawa / Sumida River and only distantly Tokyo Bay, as shown here in Google Maps.

However, he did not turn on the TV in the shower. That is a cool feature.

From NRT to Conrad and then Hilton
- I will be traveling for an extended weekend to Tokyo for several reasons and will be using otherwise expiring expiring Q3FN certificates. Is there an inexpensive and preferably easy way to use train or metro from Narita to Conrad Tokyo? I am also considering moving from Conrad to Hilton - is there an easy way to do so by metro? Any recommendations for a public transportation pass for 3-4 days? We are traveling very light so luggage is not the issue.

You know Narita is way, way out from Tokyo, right? Inexpensive and easy are mutually exclusive for this journey. The Narita Express is what I'd use to get into Tokyo station, from where it's a short metro or taxi. That costs ¥5,500 round-trip including a Suica card with ¥1,500 loaded onto it; since the one-way fare is normally ¥2,940, it's a great deal.
As regards the public transportation pass, just use a Suica prepaid card.
I can't comment on transfer between Conrad Tokyo and Hilton Tokyo, unfortunately.

Many people, including myself, have used the airport limo bus for get from NRT to the Conrad. As easy as can be. Drops you right at the hotel and the return journey can be charged to your room to earn points
I don't remember the cost (it's been a few years), but I'm sure a simple search will come up with good results.

Limo Bus, the cost last year was 3,000 YEN, so at today's exchange rate (81yen/$1) it would be $37. It is definitely worth it, you get dropped off right at Conrad and a gentlemen with white gloves will pick up your bags and escort you to 28th floor (for check in!)
Make sure you get the ticket to Ginza/Shiodome area, Conrad is actually the first stop off the expressway.
Remember, you are in Japan so there is absolutely no need to tip.
Taxi will cost you $250+ and there is no easy way to take a train from NRT to Conrad.
Cheers,
PedroNY

As mentioned the friendly limousine bus takes you right to the front door of the Conrad.

I have found that one could get a 2-day unlimited metro pass with a round trip tickets from NRT for 6,000 yen. Airport Limousine bus and Tokyo Metro can be used on separate days. There are similar one way deals from both NRT and HND.

Does anyone remember the fee for internet access on the room?
