If you remember the speculation was frantic. Insiders who "knew" changes were coming and benefits were being reduced. Cousins of employees who heard it was not going to be renewed. All BS, nothing changed and the renewal was seamless. It may or may not be renewed, but nobody on this board will have any idea either way until it happens.

This is a risk with any FC benefit. But, for some reason, certain people do not want to hear that.
If you need a promo code, please send a PM. I am also involved in another project where we are offering five people Diamond Status for Caesars. This isn't the right forum for "self-promotion," but should be easy to figure out.

Yes, the rate you sign up with (in this case $295x2 prepaid) becomes your renewal rate. At least that has always been the way the program works. Of course, terms&conditions always say prices are subject to change. FC wants you to renew (that's the entire concept, they don't want to lose members), so I believe this will remain the same. But, as with all programs, they reserve the right to change things UNLESS you are guaranteed the renewal rate. In past years they have used verbiage like "your sign up rate will remain your renewal rate for life."

Yep. One thing I pride myself in is sharing accurate information. When I do not know or am not sure, I tell it like it is (or I believe it is).

You'll get the $295 renewal rate after the two years. At least, that has always been the way things have worked. (of course, you are pre-paying the $295x2 when you sign up)

Word is Diamond lounge access will only be available in 2018 for those that have 25k tier or more. There had been talking at my local casino that it would be like that there but my friend just sent me a screenshot of 2018 benefits showing that it looks to be system wide for 2018
At local casino, word also is its like AC in that you can get in for $10 in comps but it's free for those are 25k tier plus.

"In 2018, Diamond Lounge access will be complimentary for members who earn at least 25,000 Tier Credits in 2017."
"A fee may be charged for entry to Diamond Lounges. However, Diamond members that have earned at least 25,000 Tier Credits in the previous or current year will receive complimentary access. Additional fees for guests brought to the Diamond Lounge with Diamond member may apply. Where available. Other restrictions may apply."
Even if there is a charge, still may be worth it from time to time, I just wouldn't pop in for a quick drink or bottle of water anymore.

Caesars and the rest of the TR properties have just diluted Diamond status for the vast majority of their Diamond players-having to (2018) now hit 25k Tier credits each year means the Diamond Lounge no longer exist for many of the current Diamond players!
I spoke with my Caesars Executive casino host a few moments ago who communicated to me that the change was due to Diamond players abusing (staying in lounge from open to close, bringing in extra guest, visiting lounge but not gaming etc...) the program.
I suggested that instead of taking away one of the premiere benefit of being Diamond status for the vast majority, perhaps they could implement technology to eliminate such offense.
We have become a country whereby everyone gets a trophy and everyone gets penalized regardless of their performance and or behavior!

This is going to backlash against TR and the DL staff, who will see their tips greatly diminish.
A 15K Tier Score already means the player ran at least $50k through a VP machine. Surely this plus the cash the player leaves on the table is worth some salad and some pot fingers once a day, 365 days per year?
CET already offers lower VP pay tables than most of the off strip casinos. Diamond players will simply go Downtown.
And if TR did this to their own players, I honestly can't imagine Founderscard members being allowed into the DL.

It won't affect FC members at all, unless they lack the RCs to enter. But that also goes for folks who are Diamond through tier matches, Quest for Rewards, Diamond Delight poker tournaments, and anyone who uses RCs to cover trip expenses. People who got Diamond through FC are a small piece of a very large pie. Some tend to forget that CET made all of those above ways to get Diamond possible, not FC.
This is the last nail to FC's coffin.

There will be an adjustment for us as far as going to Harrah's Philadelphia since we have gotten used to going almost everyday for free but we just have to pick and choose when we go.
