I did it online but the next day my friend said her account is still basic.
So I called a US agent and he said it can take up to one week for the account to be updated to Gold. Which didn't make sense to me because previously when I gifted gold status, it was automatic.

Friend of mine (AY Silver) upgraded his Value BKK-HEL ticket with points and received:
16800 award points
16800 tier points
I really dont understand why.
8000 x 1,10=8800 and then + mysterious double long haul 8000 points but why tier is also 16800?

Missing credit request
Hi guys, sorry for the stupid question 
I took a flight in C with QR on 24sep and after it didn't show up (it was the only segment that didn't), I made a missing credit request on 08oct ie two weeks later, and the flight was listed in the transactions list with an asterisk. I logged in again today and the flight was gone, no "validation failed", nothing - just gone...
Does anyone have an idea what this could be related to? Or should I message CS?

actually, CS said that it disappeared because it was „being added“ – 2 hours later, it was in my transactions list. Finnair‘s IT is lovably weird at times.
