Hi guys, have an upcoming trip to BKK currently on an OZ A359 SFO-ICN, then on TG (747) to BKK and am considering switching to EVA from YVR-TPE, with TG onwards to BKK (772).
Any feedback on which business product is better? I know OZ has the new smartium seats, however it seems like the service on BR is much better. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is too OT, however have been looking at the seating charts for the 773 and trying to compare the two.
EDIT: Ended up switching to YVR-TPE-BKK all on the BR 773. Looking forward to it!

And now that I have switched my reservation to YVR-TPE-BKK on BR, any thoughts on what seats to pick in J? I did not see any preferences listed in the wiki, and would love to hear some insight about what people think. I am currently in 9A and 10K in the mini-cabin of J. Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Switched to 2A and 2K.

I'm planning to fly EVA Premium Economy from Europe to BKK, and I am wondering if there is any difference in the PE cabin between the LHR flights and the AMS route. Are they the same cabin or one is newer than the other? Thanks.

Nope. Both are operated by 77M unless their is a seasonal up gauge(77B operated on LHR for the end of summer holidays in '17)

I've been reading around and I'm not sure if this has been answered already, but I was wondering in PE is it possible to get assigned the bulkhead seats prior to airport checkin by calling in? I'm BR silver but my companion is gold. Would she be able to request for bulkhead seats ahead of time? Thanks!

Flying BR17 SFO-TPE in about ten days. Grabbed 11A, as that and 11K were the only windows available. Any thoughts on whether I should I try to grab 1A at T-72? 6G is also available. I'm concerned about noise (bassinets), not footwell.

1A would be preferable. 11A is rather close to the engines and it is very loud.

Based on flights on other carriers, the engines are louder toward the wing on the 77W but it doesn't really bother me. I'm more concerned about the bassinets that are immediately behind row 11.

My concern with 1A is foot traffic which is why i prefer 11A or somewhere in the rear cabin.
I have been lucky enough to sit on 11A a couple of times and not have noise issues from the bassinets. I use the restrooms a few times during the flight and end up using the restroom by 1A since the restroom by the galley is more often then not occupied.
