So based on this: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.c...ss-777-review/
Does this mean only the morning flight (BR 5) would have the updated J products?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe planes do shuffle over the course/series of flights right? Is there any chance that one of the 77A will be assigned to BR 11 or 15, or not at all?

Got it, thanks! I guess given that there is a slightly better 777 J product out there makes me feel that I should go for that, than the older one, since it will be our first time to try their J.

Going back to the BR 5 flight, so can you confirm if it is indeed a 77A, based on the review?
Also, I have asked this on the other thread (Front or Second cabin) - but with a family of three (2 adults 1 7-yo), is it best to stay on the front or back? This is with high certainty that my son will turn hyperactive within the course of that 14-hr flight. I am inclined to stay at the back cabin just to minimize any disruptions. Plus I also wanted all of us in a straight row so we can all see each other. Any suggestions?

You can always call and ask. They will inform you what type it is for the days you need.

in J class when making your seat selection, look for the extra seat in the front cabin. on 77A, the bathroom is another seat.
in PE, 77M have 27 rows(like 27 is the last row of PE), 77A have 26.

i just got off BR06. it was a 77M. took BR05 there, was also a 77M. But my mom and dad who also took BR05 there were on 77A. so its pretty random.

I've been doing some research but how can I tell exactly what model aircraft is being flown from JFK>TPE>SGN and SGN>TPE>JFK? I narrowed it down to either 77A or 77B. On both trips I have a short leg (from SGN>TPE) in elite class (21K). According to seatguru on 77A 21K there is no window, but 77B there is a window on 21K. Can anyone tell me if 21K indeed does have a window or not? Not the biggest problem but I think I would prefer a window if given the choice. Thanks in advance!

I tend to avoid Row 8 as it is a bassinet row. On 77A/77B, I avoid 1D/G due to it's proximity to the right hand side toilet and the closets that the FA's seem to frequently open and close. I often sit in 1A/K and I like it, the only issue is that you have to share the overhead compartment with 1D/G as the pilot's crew rest is above them.
