This is when it's time to call and get dinner delivered. Why not treat yourselves on a Tuesday night!

Comfort food options....

1. An assortment of sushi with miso soup and/or salad
2. Chicken in the pot
3. Pad thai and cup of Tom Kah Kai Soup
4. Your favorite parm (eggplant, veal or chicken) over linguini

Just some ideas.

We did go out for dinner tonight, and stopped by the grocery store to at least pick up food for dinner tomorrow. Thursday is another story.

We went out to dinner, but yes, today was a good day to not cook.

Chicken in the pot? What exactly is that?

I haven't made chicken parm in quite a while.

Mr. Kipper, who is reading over my shoulder, is voting for 1, but since I'm not a sushi fan, he'd be on his own there.

I love easter dinner as much as the next person, and don't mind a meal or two of leftovers. But going home to the last few bites of it still there makes me want to vomit.

We have some leftover grilled chicken, some blue cheese and some pinenuts hanging around.

I'm gonna stop and pick up some flatbreads, and make flatbread pizzas with chicken, carmelized onions, blue cheese and pinenuts. Oh, I have some pea shoots, I'll put that on top.

Me: Small roast beef sandwich, salad and a bowl of minestrone-like soup. Was thirsting for a "Fin du Monde" but, alas, none in the fridge. Don't need the additional carbs anyway.

Wife: Caesar salad, herbed roast chicken, grilled vegs and fingerling potatoes. Glass of Riesling.

Cat: Half a rat and some kitty treats.

Tonight, casserole with turkey sausage, hash browns, corn, cheese, and egg.

Tomorrow's dinner is chicken bruschetta.

Pan seared tilapia with sauted asparagus and garlic, and a salad on the side. Currently doing my 5-2 diet. The weekend will be much different.
