Tortilla soup. Panko crusted sauteed tilapia with fresh pineapple salsa, cilantro rice and a yet to be determined vegetable. Dessert is Dreyer's Girl Scout cookie thin mint ice cream.

We made individual cheese (gruyere) souffles and thawed and heated up some creamed turkey that I had made with Thanksgiving leftovers. Dug a hole in each of the souffles and poured the creamed turkey in. Yum.

Since we had a lot of eggs, we made chocolate souffles for dessert, with vanilla ice cream. We were pigs.

Something light, I'm not sure what yet. Maybe some rice/eggplant ziploc baggie I put in the freezer. And boil an egg, with maybe some achar/pickles to go with.

Brownies in the oven, caramel sauce cooking on the stove, vanilla ice cream in the freezer, nitrous-oxide whipping cream in the frig.

How much cheesecake does one have to eat before it counts as dinner? 1,000 calories worth... 2,000 calories... 3,000?

Homemade chicken pot pie, since I never did get around to preparing it a few weeks ago. Fresh chicken though.

That takes care of lunch for Mr. Kipper for the rest of the week, and I just need to figure out what we're having for dinner the rest of the week then.

Sure. I'll send you a PM with it. It's pretty easy, and can be thrown together pretty quickly, both of which I appreciate when I'm cooking after work.

Large bottle of wine - I need it! And I suspect I am getting sick - alcohol disinfects stuff, therefore I shall have copious amounts to kill the lurgy!

Try something with a higher alcohol content.

Hmmm, she makes a good point. I've got some elderflower liquor that is rather yummy, and herby / botanical things are good for you, right? So it is like super medicine!

I've always resorted to whiskey or a double shot of Jgermeister and Rumplemintz, mixed together, which seems to burn, but then do wonders on a sore throat.

Do you make your own achar? I've been looking for a good recipe...
