I had 10 skewers of chicken satay with peanut sauce for dinner last night. A guy goes through the neighborhood on a motorbike, and will stop at your house to cook them on his little cart, in front of you. 15000 IDR ($1.01 for 10 pieces). Pretty tasty, though I do prefer goat satays, more.

Hong Kong family feast

What we saved last night, we spent tonight on HKG style chinese food. These are not US portions, sizes are small/medium-ish.

Pangsit Udang mayonnaise dim sum
Young green beans with garlic
Roasted Pork
Char Siu Pork
Kung Pao Chicken
Black pepper Beef
Hainam rice with Pork belly
Yang Cheow fried rice
Pork with Szechuan sauce

This will feed 3 people tonight, and probably another meal tomorrow. $35 including tax and service charge. Everything tastes great, so far.

I think I gain 10 lbs every time I read about your nightly dessert extravaganzas
I can't tell if the french toast was part of dinner or dessert . Or breakfast ?

That's part of why I'm a fan of Halo Top.

They did. I had a 300g Riverina scotch fillet to be precise. With mash and salad. A lot of places are still only offering a limited menu because of social distancing and venue capacity restrictions.
