Darn - just saw this as I’m sitting at the airport.

I should be banned from France - I tried going to a bistro but the kitchen was closed - alas, I ended up at Chipotle - in Paris. It was good.

There's always Tokyo, Seoul, or New York!

I still recall the shock of seeing Starbucks in Paris although Starbucks pricing in Hangzhou (china) in 2005 was a real shock - back then a Starbucks drink price was a day’s wages for most factory workers. Tale of 2 cities even then…

Sorry, but that looks like a cup of Heinz beans and some crackers.

I made a pizza! The dough and sauce are from scratch.

How it started

How it's going

I've had some help with the eating, but not that much 😁

That looks fabulously delicious for a homemade pizza (so much so that now I have a hankering for pizza even though I have obviously already eaten)

Great prosciutto cotto pizza for only 3000 HUF at Manu+ in Budapest - I was so confused walking here as I didn’t recognize the route from two years ago, but turns out they have moved to a larger location

The flavor of the sauce is fantastic.

Delicious bufala mozzarella pizza with garlic oil at Manu+ followed by an actually very yummy chimney cone with salted toffee and stracciatella gelato from Pichler (nearly 9 dollars but worth it)

Fried Sheepshead hoagie - Poe’s Tavern JAX. I ate 2 filets, the tomatoes and half the excellent fries and was stuffed. Accompanied by a delicious brown ale.

Odd place. In the men’s room, the walls were papered with pages from E A Poe’s writing. And a disembodied voice was reading his works.

Back to Manu+ and then a chimney cake with cinnamon from a stand on Andrassy Ut - at 1200 forint, it was the cheapest I saw on my walks - as it was served hot and fresh, it was yummy
