A mishmash of items leftover from Thanksgiving -- some salmon, sweet potatoes, salad and carrots for dinner and a slice of key lime pie for dessert!

This was my favorite pizza in Paris two years ago, but I was honestly a bit disappointed this year. The toppings had great flavor, but the temperature was a bit low and I was less impressed with the crust. Ill be trying another pizzeria tonight.

Pizzeria Popolare, Paris

thank you! It was Bavarian style potato salad - ie warm. Boy did I get awful culture shock in Koeln in 2004 when my kartoffelsalat was cold and mayonnaise-based like USA potato salad. My local friend there confirmed that style - he is from Dortmund and didnt really know Bavarian kartoffelsalat style at all. Kinda like Americans saying pop instead of soda and perplexing a non-American who wanted a cold drink.

so do you just cook Korean food? I guess its easy to bury fermenting Kim chee when one has a big back yard :-)

Dinner aboard UA182, DEN-FRA, in whY. The options were butter chicken (below), shepherds pie or a rigatoni. For a whY meal, it was surprisingly good, though a bit too small of a portion.

A generous serving of Lobster Newburg with its lovely rich custard that has a touch of sherry and a side of rice pilaf paired with a 2021 Domaine Carneros is a lovely midweek dinner
